Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about SCFPro - how it deploys, how it integrates, and how it works for financial institutions, corporate buyers and SME suppliers.

Financial Institutions

Yes. SCFPro is fully white-label by design. Your institution's logo, domain, colour scheme and user-facing copy replace all SCFPro branding. Your corporate clients will only ever see your institution's brand.

Payables finance, invoice discounting, PO financing, distributor finance, fixed-rate early payment, inventory financing and bank guarantees are all natively supported. We can also work with your team to configure custom financing products within your SCFPro deployment.

Your team has real-time access to transaction documents, status updates and exposure data - from offer generation through to repayment - with full per-user audit trails and branch-level portfolio dashboards.

Both options are available. Transaction types with pre-defined rules - such as PO financing and distributor finance - can be configured with fully automated approval workflows. Other request types route to your team for manual review. Maker-checker controls apply throughout.

No. SCFPro operates as a standalone cloud platform from day one. To enable direct payment instruction push and real-time status retrieval from your core banking system, our team will work with your IT team to build the necessary API or Host-to-Host (H2H) integration - but this is not required to launch.

Corporate Buyers

Yes. SCFPro supports flexible ERP integration using your ERP's API endpoints and an in-app data mapping tool. SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and QuickBooks are all supported, as are most ERPs exposing standard auth protocols.

No. You continue using your existing approval workflows and payment terms. SCFPro works alongside your current processes - your suppliers can access early payment without any changes being required on your end.

You can invite suppliers manually, upload a list, or - where ERP integration is active - import them directly from your ERP via the Supplier Management module. You can also find and transact with suppliers already registered on the platform.

No. You retain control over your document approvals - purchase orders and invoices - but financing eligibility and disbursement decisions rest with your financial institution.

SME Suppliers

Yes. External invoices can be uploaded manually. The platform includes tools for your finance provider to confirm authenticity directly with your buyer - either in-app if they're registered, or offline if they are not.

Yes. Since SCFPro is a digital offering by the administering bank, you will be required to operate an account with them to access the platform.

You can still upload documents and request financing, but verification and financing availability may be limited until the financial institution completes their assessment and due diligence for that buyer relationship.

The platform notifies you when documents linked to eligible buyers or financing programmes become available for financing - based on your buyer's configuration and the financial institution's policies.

Yes. Rates and fees are set by the financial institution and displayed transparently before you accept any offer. There are no hidden charges.

Yes. Once registered, you can transact with multiple buyers on the same platform, depending on your trade relationships and the institution's programme coverage.

Technical & Integration

Most ERP systems that expose secure APIs are supported - including those using OAuth, OAuth2, JWT, AWS Signature or Bearer token authentication. Named integrations include SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and QuickBooks.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. The platform applies strict role-based access controls and maintains detailed activity logs across all user actions. Architecture is SOC 2 compliance-ready.

Yes. SCFPro supports granular role-based access - permissions are defined per user role, with separate access levels configurable for your institution's internal team, corporate buyers and their supplier networks.

Yes. The platform maintains detailed audit trails and supports exportable records for internal reviews, KYC processes and compliance audits. Pre-configured workflows for central bank requirements are currently supported for 6+ African markets.

Platform & Collaboration

Yes. SCFPro includes a secure in-app messaging system that enables real-time communication and document exchange between suppliers, buyers and the institution's team - all scoped to specific transactions and end-to-end encrypted.

Yes. Every conversation is context-aware - messages are pinned to the relevant invoice, PO, financing request or guarantee, keeping communication organised and reducing the risk of miscommunication between parties.
